Arch. Marina Kavalirek
Architect and graduate of Technical University Vienna, she is the author of the architectural guidebook Rome: Buildings and Projects after 1945 and co-author of DOM publishers’ collector’s edition. Her main areas of interests in architecture regard the last century as well as urban studies and architecture of Rome. She has been teaching in various American study abroad programs in Rome since 2007 (Catholic University of America, Cornell in Rome, Pennsylvania State University, Pratt Institute, University of Washington). Kavalirek has travelled extensively in Europe and has led research and study tours throughout Italy and European Capitals.
Arch. Alessandro Franchetti Pardo
Architect, PhD in Rome, he has taught Architectural Design at “Sapienza University of Rome”, “University of Roma Tre”, “Polytechnic of Bari”, “Catholic University of Washington” (USA), Master Archaeology/History/Project of the University of “Roma Tre”. Guest and organizer of conferences, seminars and lectures at Italian and foreign universities. Member of ARCo (Association for the Recovery of the Built) and ISUF (International Seminar on Urban Form) Italy. Among his publications: various articles in specialized journals; educational publications on the themes of urban fabric; the entry “Synagogues” in the Encyclopedia UTET “Building for worship” and other encyclopedic entries for the same publisher.
